5 March, 2010 - A taxi driver Nado from Chamkhar and Tamzhing Lhakhang monk Sonam Tashi each received Nu.50,000 soelra from his Majesty the king on March 3 in recognition of their courage and exemplary display of respect for the Dharma.
They had saved the Nangtens of the Kenchosum Lhakhang in Bumthang, which was destroyed by fire on February 24.
